A first of its kind program to drive industry-research collaboration, encourage innovation and help drive future economic growth in South Australia has been launched by the State Government.
Delivered through the University of South Australia, the new research Mobility Grants Scheme will fund 12-month placements for researchers to work within a business, or for industry representatives to work within UniSA, to transfer and exchange expertise, training and skills.
The first placements will be rolled out at IPACS – an Australian technology company headquartered in Adelaide and Bionomics, a biopharmaceutical company in Thebarton making better treatments for cancer.
